Grappling (BJJ NO GI) Method
BJJ-Grappling at The Roman Gladiators
At The Roman Gladiators, our Grappling program redefines "The Gentle Art" by merging Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, Judo, and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. Evolving through generations, our approach is anything but static; it’s a powerful blend of techniques that has grown beyond tradition to face modern combat challenges. What worked two decades ago isn’t enough for today’s competitive edge, so we’ve crafted a training experience that’s designed for adaptability and versatility.
Why Train with Us?
Our method provides a broad skill set, preparing you for any situation—on the mat or in the ring. With hands-on training led by seasoned experts and elite competitors, you’ll learn to link body and mind, developing a powerful, responsive style that stands up to any challenge.
The TRG Method
We start you off with a strong foundation and progressively build your skills with an 8-week rotating curriculum. This continuous progression introduces new techniques and adapts them to your evolving strengths, taking you from beginner to competitive level.
Is BJJ Only for Competitors?
Not at all. BJJ is often called “The Gentle Art” for its non-violent approach, making it ideal for anyone looking to learn a highly effective, adaptable martial art without the pressure to fight. Our program guides you, whether you're a beginner or aiming for advanced competition.
A Word from Our Head Coach
“I’ve trained in Jiu-Jitsu for years, and what I love most is how it keeps evolving, adding fresh energy to a timeless art. At TRG, we don’t just train the body—we shape the mind, building resilience that goes beyond the mat.”
